The M Club Foundation established the M Club Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet Endowed Operating Fund for Intercollegiate Athletics in January 2024. This fund provides operating support for the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1982 by the M Club Foundation as a joint project with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Hall of Fame pays tribute to Terp athletes, coaches and administrators who have made major contributions to the honor and fame of the University, and have continued to demonstrate the positive values learned through competing in intercollegiate sports. The Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet is the premier event for honoring UMD’s greatest athletic achievers.
